The Ironbridge Ogre is a young children's mythical story book set in the heart of Telford, Shropshire. Following the adventure of a young girl called Kit and an Ogre who lives under the famous Ironbridge. Kit takes Cyril the Ogre to visit lots of wonderful places around Telford to show him what he has missed in fifty years – and if she can make him smile, he promises not to turn her into a pork pie! The story has been created in celebration of the 50 years of Telford.
